Lamongan - 12/24/2024, the Medical Informatics Undergraduate Study Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA) has once again confirmed its commitment to providing the latest insights to its students. This time, the Medical Informatics Study Program, along with other engineering study programs at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Education UMLA, held the Batch 2 Industrial Technology Seminar in 2024 with the theme "The Role of Digital Technology to Increase Competitiveness in Industry and Health".

The event, which took place in the Budi Utomo Hall, presented Rofiq Azhari, S.Kom, a professional in the field of information technology who serves as Head of IT at the Muhammadiyah Lamongan Hospital and CEO of Cakra Langit Developer. In his material, Rofiq Azhari explained the importance of the role of digital technology in advancing industry and health. Technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and digital communications have become important foundations for increasing efficiency and productivity in various sectors.

Rofiq also reviewed the implementation of digital technology in hospitals, mobile health, information displays, electronic medical records, communication media, and digital infrastructure and security. This seminar also discussed the digital infrastructure of hospitals, including internal and external data storage using cloud services, as well as digital communication technologies such as VOIP and WhatsApp API. Smart office technology for real-time temperature monitoring was also presented as an innovation that improves operational management.
