Lamongan - The Engineering Student Forum (Format) of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Education (FSTP) of the Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan (UMLA) has held an Engineering Familiarity Night (Makrab) Activity in Pacet, Mojokerto for three days, (18-20/10/2024). This activity was attended by a combination of 3 study programs, namely Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Medical Informatics Engineering.

This year's Makrab carries the theme "Building Synergy and Solidarity of Engineering Students". Leadership material was presented by Alif Bin Khoir as the Student President (PRESMA) of UMLA, Administration material was presented by Dinny ayu Zumrhotuni as the Secretary General (SEKJEN) of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of UMLA, Organizational material was presented by Ahmad Fatkhul Mubin as the Governor of FSTP UMLA and Critical Thinking material was presented by Iqbal Pramudito as the Chairperson of the Student Representative Council (DPM) of UMLA.

In his remarks, the Chairperson of the 2024 Engineering Makrab, Yahya Zarkasi Nur conveyed the purpose of this activity. "To introduce friends from computer engineering, industrial engineering and medical informatics engineering to get to know each other as fellow UMLA engineering groups, because later if there is a joint activity we will not miscommunicate," he explained.

He also expressed his hope for holding this activity. "Maybe after this makrab is finished, new student friends can establish better, more solid communication, and also no one will clash with each other," he added hopefully.
