Lamongan - The atmosphere of the Hall of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Sugio, Lamongan Regency, East Java, felt different on Tuesday morning, June 17, 2025. Dozens of grade 12 students enthusiastically followed the explanations of the lecturers from the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan (Umla) who came with one mission: to introduce Rapid Prototyping technology through 3D Printing. This educational activity is not just theory on the board. The students were invited to witness firsthand how 3D printing technology works, from designing digital designs to seeing real print results. Several works such as key chains and miniature engineering components were shown and shared for observation.

For some students, this was the first time they had seen a 3D printing machine in operation. This new experience made many eyes sparkle, especially since the lecturer explained it in simple language that was easy to understand.

A teacher at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Sugio, Supriyadi, expressed his gratitude for Umla's initiative. According to him, this activity increases students' practical insight while preparing them to be more ready to compete in the technological era.

"We really appreciate the presence of Umla. This activity is very useful to open students' insights into the development of industrial technology. Hopefully this kind of cooperation can continue in the future," said Supriyadi.
